  30. Hug by TVXQ. Because they were still the awesome five then (and they still are the awesome 2:3 though) I know it’s not a charismatic song which showcases their manly melodious voices but I believe all Cassies do agree with me that, it is definitely one of the best performance, song and music video they ever made. They were happy, child-like, excited and so innocent back then. I’ve been a cassie for a long time, 7 going on 8 years now, and looking back, I can proudly say (like a proud momma) that the boys did us proud! From the very cutesy performance they gave us in the beginning (that make us want to squeeze and HUG them) to the now, manly, charismatic and drop-dead gorgeous performance that makes cassies all per the world begging for more. Hehe hope I describe it well ❤

  31. All time favourite would be Proud! To be exact, the one that they performed Live at Tokyo Dome. It never fails to move me seeing how touched they felt to have achieved very far in the music industry. Fav vocalist would defly be Shim Changmin!!! I’ve never seen him live and hearing his heavenly vocals in person would just be…well, heavenly!

    Posted by Zuraimi | December 3, 2011, 1:29 AM
  32. My favourite TVXQ song is definitely Keep Your Head Down. After all the drama TVXQ has faced,Keep Your Head Down shows that TVXQ is back stronger than ever. The song features strong beats and rhythm and brings out Yunho & Changmin’s charisma when performed live on stage. This flaming charisma that can be felt not just when TVXQ performs Keep Your Head Down, but in every single song they had released and this just shows that TVXQ are truly the ‘Rising Gods Of The East’ through the effort and passion they put in to every performance.

  46. Keep Your Head Down
This is their first song that brought them back stronger as TVXQ after whatever that happened. So as a fan it has alot of meanings to us not just the melody and lyrics but the whole concept and idea as well as the strong support that everybody gave to them. Their stage and performance was spectacular too!

  47. I like the song ‘O – Jung Ban Hup’ because that was the very FIRST K-pop song I heard! It left a very deep impression on me and that CD Album was also my first Korean Album, though I couldn’t understand a word at that time!!!

  49. My favourite DBSK song is EASY MIND from their TONE album! ^__^

Although I really enjoy all their sexy dance numbers, I especially love this cheerful song- it reminds Cassiopeia to keep smiling in life no matter what!!!

    “Don’t Worry, Be Happy”

    ❤TVXQ/DBSK/Tohoshinki/東方神起!!!

  50. My favourite TVXQ’s song is “Before you go”. Not only did they show their charismatic in a smooth and “ballad” of this song, they still manage to pull off their strong and cool look.!!(: Also, in the mv, Yunho save Changmin whereby, it was really heartwarming to show the scene and not killing each other.!!(:

  51. Honey Funny Bunny

The title of the song put me off a little at first and I was expecting it to be a cute, fluffy song.
It turned out to be a gentle upbeat song with a bit of romance in the melody. The lyrics are very cute ^^
Not many people like this song, but this happened to be my favourite so far!

Thanks a lot for this by the way (:

  52. I really love homin’s maximum because the song is really addictive and the beat is awesome and especially when I heard the news of them all singing maximum I felt so happy!!! Well I love all their songs but my favourite out of DB5K would
Be balloons as it the song showed such
A different image of the usual muscular and chocolate abs but a cuter one with all of them playing around! All their songs are awesome and as a cassie I will always keep the faith!

  53. Before U Go is my favourite song by TVXQ!
Many Kpop dance songs (especially main hits) are heavily autotuned and contain a lot of repetitive lyrics.
The melody of Before U Go is really different from such songs, but yet catchy and able to showcase the strong vocals our idols have!
The great dance choreo is definitely a bonus 😀

    Thanks!

  54. Hello!

It’s hard to pick one but i guess I’ll say Maximum! because its the most played song on my phone & ipod 🙂 it’s also the song/performance that i always show to my friends when i’m introducing them to DBSK.

It is powerful and it showcases each of their individual vocal and dance talents well. The dance choreo is also my fave. We’ve heard the version with the 5 of them (check youtube!)… but Homin totally still rocked the song. My other favourite songs are Bolero, Crazy Love and Love in the Ice! I will never get sick of them! 🙂

    Thanks for this opportunity 🙂

  55. My favourite song from the duo would be ‘She’ from the ‘why’ album. The song wasn’t promoted at all but the lyrics would make anyone smile; “You’re everything and more I could wish for. And you’re heaven. The world keeps spinning because of you. Oh, she~”

Truthfully, even without understanding the lyrics, their glorious, harmonious voices would lull you to sleep with a smile on your face.

    Shim Changmin and Yunho makes
    Hard day becomes
Exemtremely sweet with their voices! ♥

  57. My favourite song has got to be Love In The Ice. Not only did the song allow all 5 members’ vocal strengths to shine, it really showed that TVXQ is more than k-pop; these boys are definitely more than idols. How their voices blended with each other’s, as well as the melody, is really not what mere words can describe; you really got to listen to this song for yourself. 🙂

Be it 2, 3 or 5, it will still be TVXQ in our eyes. Be it 2, 3 or 5, thank you for making k-pop worthwhile. ❤

  58. My all time favourite tvxq song would be Love in the ice, even though it may not be their latest hit single but the lyrics that changmin wrote in the song is so meaningful. It also show their individual powerful vocal. This song really brought back beautiful memories and tvxq are the most talented band that can sing and dance. Their stage performance and interaction with fans are amazing too.

I personally like this song because its very catchy & even though the dance is quite hard to follow, i’ll still dance to it because thr beat of the song would not get off from my head! Till

  70. My favourite TVXQ song is 이것만은 알고 가 Before U Go. It is an addictive song that makes fans want to listen again and again, and an introductory song to new listeners about the amazing vocal qualities of TVXQ. Yunho yet again surpasses my expectations, and Changmin’s intense high notes are unbeatable and unimitable. The crazy good ad libs in the song raise the listening experience to a whole new level when the listener is already enraptured by the melody and the singing. Moreover, the music video managed to pack such a good action story in full in just over 5 minutes – something not easy to find.

    Posted by gheehie | December 3, 2011, 7:36 AM
  71. I love the song ‘Crazy Love’. I was attracted by the music upon 1st hearing. I can really feel how TVXQ express their crazy feeling towards the girl they love in the song and felt really being loved by them.

  72. I love the song MAXIMUM! The African-influenced tempo makes the song catchy .. The dance cheorography is awesome and uniform … And most importantly it also showcased TVXQ’s best known talent -vocal and dance to the MAXIMUM!!

    Posted by Heenekko | December 3, 2011, 10:15 AM
  73. I love the song ‘Duet’ as the guitar melody makes you feel you are the only one in TVXQ eyes. Yunho and Changmin’s powerful voice sounds possessive too! They really make you feel you are really meant for each other. It’s a very romantic song so I love it very much! ^^

  74. I would say my favourite TVXQ! song by both of them is She! It’s is just such an undeniably beautiful song~

  75. It has to be “Begin”… It might not be the first song that they released but to me, It was the first song that I listened from them… It was the first song I knew all the lyrics too… It was the first song that made me fall in love with them hard, and since then, there was no turning back!

It is still the song I still have goosebumps listening to nowadays, while reminiscing all of TVXQ 🙂

    TVXQ Hwaiting! 🙂

  77. My favorite TVXQ song is:

    SHE

Why is this my favorite song:

When Sment first announced that TVXQ will be releasing another album with just our two boys Changmin & Yunho, I had mixed feelings about it. Changmin being a tenor & Yunho being a bass, I was wondering how will their voices match up with each other. The pitch gap seems rather big and me being a fan of R&B music as well as ballads, I was curious how will they harmonize with each other.

When the album was released, the hype was all on their hit song ‘Keep Your Head Down’ which portrays and focus alot more on their powerful dancing and of cos Changmin’s unbelievable screams lol. But in that album, when I finally listened to ‘She’, I started falling in love with that song almost immediately. I could listen in this song that the duo have certainly expanded their pitch range and they really could harmonize very very very beautifully together!!

Moreover, I could relate to the song’s lyrics alot too. The song tells of the love and pride that one has for his girl and “그녀가 얼마나 예쁜 사람인 건지 (Just how beautiful of a person she is)”. I dedicated this song to my girl and till now it is still both our favorite song haha.

Hope I will have a chance to win this ticket and I’ll most probably give it to my girl if it is only one ticket. She is a HUGE Cassie (: But we both attended the recent Mnet Asian Music Award so we do not have enough case to attend this TVXQ party 😦 Please fulfill my wish (: Thank you!

  78. My favourite TVXQ song is Purple Line as it got a really awesome beat that never fails to get me hyped up.. I think it is a great song that showcases their incredible talents.. And not to mention the credit to the song for making me a cassieopia~~ ^_^

  79. My favourite song is Love In The Ice. The song means a lot to me,especially now, with the divide between the 5 members of dong bang shin ki.It has beautiful lyrics that give me hope and comfort me whenever i’m sad.Dong bang shin ki’s live performance of this song is the most touching one of all the performances i have seen.It shows how much passion each member has for singing through the powerful emotions in the song.

  80. My favourite TVXQ song is She.

It’s a touching ballad which displays the more warm and emotional side of TVXQ, which is different from the cool manly image which they have shown in the main hit Keep Your Head Down.

I really hope to be able to meet these people who have been inspiring me ever since I became a cassie.
    Thanks!

  81. Shiawaseiro no Hana is my favourite song sung by TVXQ.
It is a Jap ballad in their TONE album.

The beautiful lyrics together with the emotional melody, make the ballad an even more meaningful one.
TVXQ’s harmonising parts in the song add a tear-jerking element to the song.

My favourite part of the song…
“If the world crumbles down, If there’s no tomorrow
I’ll stay by you with your hand in my hand, Forever and ever”

    Posted by Elaine | December 3, 2011, 1:41 PM
  82. Wasurenaide (:

This song is composed by Jaejoong for his members, and I thought the lyrics are really meaningful and touching (:

” I’ll become the wind and wrap gently around you
Right now, I want to fly to a world with you in it
Even though I want to see you so much… I miss you so much…
I’m waiting for you, don’t forget me”

I guess it constantly serve as a reminder for us Cassiopeias to never forget them as 5, whether they are JYJ or TVXQ now, and it serve as a strength for me to keep my faith. Because of this song.. I always feelTVXQ (and JYJ) will never forget us or each other, so we should believe in them and always keep the faith (:

The lyrics also constantly remind me of how they were that close, and Jaejoong’s love for his member (:

Clearly remembering how Jaejoong said “Whether or not it’s a song that I composed, it’s a song that belongs to the five members of TVXQ. Even I alone or with the three members of JYJ wouldn’t have dared to sing it.”

I guess it constantly serve as a reminder for us Cassiopeias to never forget them as 5, whether they are JYJ or TVXQ now, and it serve as a strength for me to keep my faith. 84. How Can I is my fav song!!

It is a huge contrast from the hit track Keep Your Head Down since it is a quiet and touching ballad.
It lets us see a different type of masculinity from TVXQ.
I believe that a group’s attractiveness can be shown not only through catchy dance songs, but also such emotional ballads.

Thanks a lot for organising this tickets giveaway activity!

  86. keep your head down is my fav tvxq song.

changmin’s powerful screams and yunho’s deliberate nasal voice make the song a really uniquely-tvxq song.
it also creates an overall cool vibe in the performance.

although i’m not a fangirl, i would like to see for myself a different side of TVXQ, through their interaction with fans at the fan party. i believe they are very nice and approachable idols despite showing their cool image during kyhd perf.
    thanks.

  88. Maximum

Even though there are fewer live performances of Maximum than KYHD, this song has caught my attention.
Instead of usual lyrics about one’s desperation due to love/relationship problems, Maximum is a song full of character with a little arrogance.
To me, it shows how they still take pride in themselves as TVXQ despite the many setbacks they overcame.
After 2 years, they are still able to make a comeback full of power and confidence.

    thankyouuu(:

  90. HOW CAN I is one of the very few TVXQ’s songs I know and I like it a lot.

I rarely listen to kpop and TVXQ’s songs as I’m not a fan of them.
My friend, who is a big fan of them, introduced this song to me and I fell in love with it.
The duo’s voices have such great charm and I could feel their emotions in the song even without knowing what the lyrics mean.

My friend is really keen to attend but unable to because of $.
I hope I can win this ticket for her. Thanks.

  91. So excited that i forgot to state the reasons
Love in the ice made me fall in love with TVXQ, a group with so much talent and humility,
Keep your head down kept me together with them. Cassiopeia can’t be without their princes.^^
    Thanks again! 🙂

  92. My favorite song is “How Can I”
This is their first song they sang on their Music Bank comeback stage (:
This song showcase their two ballad skills and I can see how they try to live up to DB5K!!

  93. TONIGHT.
This is the song that get me to know them years back in 2005 and it has been my favourite since then. I’m a ballad song freak, and pretty much to be, this is a best of all that i can’t stop listening to it. Though it might not be 5 of them right now, but i’m still waiting for the day whereby i can hear this live.

  95. I have been a fan since their ‘Rising Sun’ album, so it has got to be ‘Rising Sun’. ‘Keep Your Head Down’ was great but ‘Rising Sun’ evokes the most memories. I still remember in the MV for ‘Rising Sun’, they got a back-up dancer to wear a mask to replace the injured Hero JaeJoong! I know it may not be appropriate to bring up this matter, but I really really hope all five members of TVXQ can get back together again in the near future. ‘Rising Sun’ represents my best memory of the group when they have all five members, and this is the song that made me fall in love with all five of them. I support TVXQ and JYJ all the same, all the way! 당신을 사랑 !!

  102. Hug – DBSK
Although this song, to most people, may just seem like “just another song”, to Cassiopeias however, it holds a totally different meaning. This is their debut song, which marks the start of a legendary group, DBSK. Without the success of this song, there will not be the TVXQ now. And needless to say, there wont even be this fan party. This song showcases each of their own talent in singing, and really, where the five rise up upon.

  104. My favourite song is Before You Go (이것만은 알고가). This song captures the very essence of their soul – the very soul that made me fell in love with them 7 years ago. Of course, being a fan of theirs i would say that every song is my favourite… but this song really made me fell in love with them all over again. The sexy high notes of Chnagmin, and the charismatic tenor voice of Yunho – that is TVXQ.

  105. i love the song Before U go by tvxq. It shows another side of them. Sweet and tender side of them. The dance cheoreo are so hot and sexy.. Changmin Oppa vocals are so JJANG!!!!!!!!!! the dance cheoreo is superb.. Well done to the cheoreographer. i’ve been a fan of Yunho Oppa since 2009 when he was acting in the drama No limits as Chang Bong Gun. He is so awesome. From that day onwards i start researching About hi. I was sad to find out what happen to the controversy of DBSK but hey that doesn’t means everything is over now. Well JYJ and TVXQ re doing well on their own. Happiness to both Bands. Hwaiting!!!!!! i really hope that i could win this ticket.. Jaebal!!! 🙂

  110. favourite song …. there are too many! but i shall choose 믿기 싫은 이야기 … it touches my heart when they sing this song. the look of concentration and bitter-sweetness when they performed this song was … priceless. I feel like my heart has melted. this song also show us how good their vocals are, which many of us already know. and im sure this song has turned many non-fans into fans of tvxq.

  111. My favourite song is Keep Your Head Down!!

I really love the addictive bass of the song, as well as the boys’ strong vocals and rap that makes this song uniquely TVXQ. Changmin gets the opportunity to show off his powerful vocals and wide vocal range, while Yunho gets both the chance to sing parts of the song, as well as to rattle his mouth off with the rhythmic and aggressive rap. The choreography is also pperfect, making this song well-rounded and easily the top favourite for anyone ^_^

Really really hope to get the chance to see them live in Singapore!! >_<

And i can easily relate this song to life.

It holds so much significance for me because … im sure the earliest cassies would understand what i mean. I have no words to describe how much I love their music. I have no words to describe how much i love TVXQ. I just love them so much. Hug is the song that showed us their youth… and how much they have grown musically and individually till today. TVXQ is legendary. It also captures my youth (lol) because as the years gone by it felt like im “growing up” together with them.

  121. I have a Confession to make: I love TVXQ to the Maximum. I am secretly envious of the woman in their song She. Because Yunho called her his Honey Funny Bunny. It is Crazy I know and it is just a Rumor but it is a Story I Don’t Want To Believe.

Okay in all honesty, I like Keep Your Head Down best.
(Because of the strong feel of the song. A good start from their comeback after their hiatus.)

  123. TVXQ’s Doushite Kimi Wo Suki Ni Natte Shimattandarou / Why Did I Fall In Love With You would probably be my favourite. It showcases so much emotion. TVXQ is a group who is known to sound better live than on their CDs. And this song, is one that really shows that. They put so much emotion and heart into this song during their performances, people could believe that their not just singing a song, but in fact, singing about their own lives. They’re so soulful and they never perform anything short of their best. And I think this song, made people believe it. It has an addicting melody, and endearing lyrics. It’s a song that I can relate to. It takes the words right out of my mouth and leaves me breathless. TVXQ, they leave me breathless. This song also doesn’t have a choreography like most of their tracks. They don’t dance. It leaves so much more room for them to express themselves, through their vocal ability. It really captivates me. I could listen to this song for more than 24 hours straight. It gives me hope. Their voices encourage me, the song moves me. I couldn’t have been happier to be a cassie, than when they performed this song for the first time, live. It was a big opportunity for them to showcase their abilities in Japan. The lyrics being Japanese also reached out to their new audience. And i was, and still am so happy and proud of them. So if I really had to choose a favourite, it would be this song, because honestly, they do their best with every song.

They deserve so much love and support, I really hope that tomorrow’s fan party will leave a good mark in their memories.
Thanks for the opportunity, X-clusive! 🙂

  124. Favourite song: Love in the ice
I guess its just the special affinity I have with the song. I chanced upon this song on my recommended videos on YouTube. I decided to listen to it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxBoZbX155A and paid attention to the translation which I rarely do because I feel that the emotion put in singing can be felt if the singer(s) are sincere. With their extremely good harmonising, this song immediately became my favourite with the meaningful lyrics and good singing. Its definitely a challenge for them to sing live with a orchestra yet they did it even better than their recording. They may no longer be the 5 they used to be but with their powerful singing and dance, I am sure they will be successful in years to come. In DB5K, they each have different range and line to sing but they manage to put everything total in such a good synchronisation that it sound just like one singer. I hope that this song with special affinity with me will bring me good luck in winning the pair of tickets for my friends who really like DBSK and have seen JYJ last year but unable to buy ticket to see DBSK this year. I am sure she will really appreciate to see her 5 years of love in front of her eyes.

“yes, for you that place is here

    i will protect you”

  125. Love In The Ice (Korean version). Because they did a wonderful job harmonizing and Changmin wrote those lyrics.

  126. Ok, I’m gonna try my luck getting their ticket.

My favourite song will be and forever be You Only Love from their “O”-Jung.Ban.Hap album.

    Why?

That’s the first song which I discovered DBSK in 2006 and I did not regret since then.
At that time KPOP wasn’t even global yet but that song was the open door for me to KPOP.

Because of that song, I get to hear DB5K beautiful harmony when they sang in acapella.
Because of that song, I was able to witness their vast success from Korea, Japan and other parts of Asia.
Because of that song, I was able to make myself happy.
Because of that song, listening to their voices was all I need even when my life was turbulent.

    And because of that song,
    I am a Cassiopeia.

    Because of that song,

    U-Know Yunho,
    Youngwoung Jaejoong,
    Micky Yoochun,
    Xiah Junsu,
    Choikang Changmin

    became part of my life.

Let me win and you just fulfill this Cassiopeian’s dream whom has been waiting her entire life to watch them perform live. :’)

  127. Hug

The song came out very long ago when they were still performing as 5 members, and it was probably one of the happiest times DBSK and Cassies ever had.
it is a sweet and happy song which got very popular in Korea even up till now ^^
Many singers have sung covers of it but I’ve always felt that DBSK’s original version is the best. Not just because of their great vocals, but also the warmth within their voices ^^

  133. My favourite song is definetely Rising Sun!
It’s the song that got me into Kpop! All thanks to TVXQ! I’m a Cassiopeia for almost 6 years now and their talents always blows me off. No matter how tired they are, they will always give the best performance to fans. Their love for Cassiopeia is as big as an ocean! Even with songs that has intensive dance moves like rising sun, TVXQ can still pull it off so well by singing it live while dancing! Rising Sun is like a song for specially for them cos they are GODS that RISES FROM THE EAST! (:

  136. Lots of song titles came swimming in my mind but if I really had to choose one, it would be “Wish” in the Mirotic album. It showcases Changmin & Junsu’s powerful vocals. Not to mention the emotions that is in the song. I remembered it accompanied me through my exam period, lol but, the title fits perfectly how I wish for me to do well for my exams… and how I wish for DB5K to be back as 5 again. The most glorious moment, is when the five of them shine on the stage, together.
I believe that we can see this again.

  137. “Keep your head down” has constantly been my favourite song since its release on the 5th of January earlier this year. It currently has over 600 playcounts on my library as I’ve probably listened to it more than once everyday as I rode my bike to and fro university. The story behind my enjoyment for this song is deeper than its catchy and charismatic beat, but what grabs me are the lyrics. Though my understanding of the korean language is limited, the song speaks of a companion that is not-loyal, being “two-faced” and saw her partner as an easy person. I could relate to the lyrics extremely well because I saw myself as clear as a reflection within the lyrics! I could not find a better song that related with my life’s situations at that time, than “Keep your head down”. On another note, the music video was amazing!! With powerful dance choreography and stunning pyro-techniques.. TVXQ Gives me the feel of the strong emotions that they had when singing the number. This is going to be their first time in Singapore so please give me the tickets to see the suave boys LIVE in action!!

  138. My favorite song is proud from tvxq 5 in the black album. This song highlights tvxq 5 unique voices. I can feel their passion resonating with the music whenever I listen to them performing live. Here is the English translation of proud:
“We met by chance along this road
Even now I can’t forget, ever since that day
Much of the sorrow and anxiety I held
    Everything had been changed
Through the warmth of your memories
    Proud of your love

    Finding two shells
    Is just like a miracle..
    Meeting you once more”
This accurately describe my feelings for them. I met them by chance on YouTube, and since that day onwards, I can never forget about their voices. I’m proud of tvxq. I’m proud of Cassiopeia.  I’m grateful for the incredible Fate that brought me to tvxq.

  140. Keep Your Head Down!

Why? It is the first single released as a duo and the fact that it was still able to top the charts proved a lot. Despite having lost more than half of the members, I admire the duo for going strong and the popularity of this song just supports their act; it shows that the fans still support TVXQ in spite of the shrinkage of numbers.

There was also the whole episode on twitter between the current and ex members of tvxq regarding the connotation of the title of the song and I respect the duo for having handled it professional and not letting it get them down.

Supporting my above statements with a couple of english-translated quotes from the song itself:
-This is return of the king
-I’ll hold it in and stand my ground

This is indeed the best song ever for me just solely for the meaning and strength behind the song and the duo.

    Supporting TVXQ forever ❤

Although the song may seem to be full of anger to many, it’s really inspiring. It’s not just about questioning the one who used to love the reason for leaving you, but rather a newborn determination to get over it and move on. 🙂 When i’m sad or angry, i listen to it and automatically calm down. The song also has great dance choreography and Yunho and Changmin + backup dancers danced with such passion that i could literally feel their “rage” and “determination” in the song. 🙂

  146. My favourite song is Maximum! 😀

The song has a fantastic choreography! It really amazes me how they can sing live and dance well at the same time. The song showcases their powerful vocals and excellent dancing skills. I like how Yunho and Changmin each have the spotlight to themselves at the beginning before coming together to sing the song. And I wish they made a music video for this song!

Apart from the powerful dance choreography, I think what makes me like this song the most is the lyrics. The lyrics portrays a strong character and the whole idea of wanting to break free, for example, in the lines ” I wont be satisfied being entrapped in this small tower any longer”,”I want to find the strong me who can feel no limits, and “I will open the closed doors, I will take the first step”. I find the lyrics very meaningful. I think this is truly a song that only TVXQ can pull off!

I really hope to see their live performance tomorrow! thanks (x)clusive for the chance to win! 🙂

  147. Favorite song: Keep your head down

Reason why I had absolutely fallen in love with this song:

When TVXQ first announced their disband I was devastated. I always loved listening to the five of them, and their A cappella was absolutely mesmerizing. With Changmin and Yunho left in the band, I was a little disheartened because I thought that the quality of the music that they produce would never be the same again. Well, I was right, in a way. However, it was not disappointment, but more surprises.

I first heard of Keep your head down less than 6 months ago and it has always been my number one looping playlist. I absolutely love this song not only because of its tune, its lyrics, its dances or the catchy rhythm, but also how through the MV of this song, I can actually feel and see how hard Changmin and Yunho has been working to shine brightly by themselves without JeaJoong, Yoochun and JunSu. I felt I could almost see the countless days of practices of the dance and the vocals, as elucidated by the Music video that I felt was near perfection.

FIrstly, the MV’s dance was one of the best dance I have ever seen. With only two members, there are a lot more teamwork – coordinations and cooperations precipitated in the music video. In some of the Live performances, I could feel that both of them enjoy the dance tremendously. Especially when they give each other a Hi-5 on stage in the middle of the song, it is almost as if they are showing off their brotherhood bounded ever so tightly now that the heavy burdens of fans’ expectations of TVXQ as Asia’s top band is down on both of their shoulders.

Secondly, the sorrow and frustration of lyrics is well precipitated by the Music Video. In the background where the fire expresses angry, in their costume of half black and half white showing the split personality and the numb of feelings. The start of the music video with Junho and changmin dancing and the white powder effect was one of the best I have ever seen.

Thirdly, let’s not see it from the technical angle, but just from a TVXQ fan. I think of all their past music videos, this one totally ROCKS. It brings out their cool-ness, their awesome-ness, their.. everything! 🙂 I probably have all the TVXQ songs, many of which are splendid, such as mirotic or why did i fall in love with you etc. But this one has a different style. If I could describe the change with one word, it would be COOL. They have brought a whole new style to TVXQ with Keep your head down, and I had completely and ardently fallen in love with it.

It made me incandescently happy just to listen or watch the video (although i dont think i am suppose to given the meaning behind it haha but I cant help loving such great work!). When I realised that they did not win MAMA, I felt very angry, At how the people out there do not know how to appreciate such master piece. Which is why I would like to go to this fan party to show my support for them. I am not usually too hyper about going to pop concerts but I really really really wanted this time! I want to let them know that although they may not be recognized by MNET, they still have crazy fans like me who love them! I want to go there and shout my hearts out to tell them that I love their music!! Would really appreciate the honour of getting the tickets to go there! 🙂

Although I know that they will never see this, but a Mole of Thank you to Changmin and Yunho, for giving a whole new life to TVXQ with this awesome song of yours!!! ❤ You two must have felt lonely without the other three members but I believe that you guys will only shine brighter and go further. How big your stage is depends on how much you dare to dream. You guys dreamt big. The world is your stage, and I will always be your audience. Thank you for not letting the disband of TVXQ disappoint me. Thank you for the new TVXQ. 🙂 Wait for me!! HOPEFULLY I WILL BE AT YOUR FAN PARTY tomorrow!!! :):)

  148. Keep Your Head Down!!! ❤

This is the first song TVXQ promote after so many things happened to the DB5K. They finally stand together and work towards the future. As a fan, its very meaningful to me. The tune of this song is so addictive. Whenever i watched their live performances, it gives me the feeling that the gods are back! They are just so great!

However, I have not seen them perform live before. I really treasure that they finally coming to Singapore.

Regardless of the past, I will always support TVXQ till the end! Once a Cassie, FOREVER A CASSIE! ❤

  150. Love in the ice. ♥

The live version of this song at the Tokyo Dome was filled with such emotion that it felt like I was present at the concert whenever I hear it through my ipod. I swear it might have been one of the best live performances they ever had. Powerful vocals and almost perfect harmony – one of the most distinct characteristics of TVXQ. Even though the 3:2 division has gotten clearer, having different names or being at different places doesn’t matter as long as our hearts are beating as one.

    Always keep the faith, Cassiopeia.

  151. My favourite TVXQ song is Mirotic! I love the beat! It’s so addictive! Not only that, Mirotic means a lot to me not only as a Cassie, but as a Kpop fan as well. It’s the 1st Kpop song that I liked, it’s the song that introduced me to Kpop, it’s the song that made me a Cassie. It’s also the song I listened to almost everyday when I was in Secondary School and until now, it’s still one my favourite Kpop songs!

They will always be the Rising Gods of the East regardless of them being 2, 3 or 5. They are the best! I really hope that I’ll be able to watch their live performance! ^^

  152. My favorite song is definitely Mirotic. ^^

There is just something about this song that attracts me. The beat of the song makes me want to dance to the music as well. I love this song firstly because of its intenseness. The lyrics of this song is so piercing and is well illustrated in the music video. In the Music video, the story line is that all five members have been pulled by a witch and ended up trapped in different places. However, the members did not give in to the witch despite the difficulties. They fought hard and eventually won the battle as the witch melt away. Hence, when ever I listen to this song, I was reminded of how I should not give up or feel helpless, for hope is always there. Even thought someone might “get under my skin”, I will eventually be able to pull through everything. For me, this was a very inspiring song, a inspiring music video.

This was an Old song, and whenever I listen to it now, I still remember how I used to stalk the five members on youtube everyday on their latest albums or singles and the watch every single variety shows they participate, and listening to Changmin’s “mirotic scream” video over and over again and fall totally head over heels in love with him!
But that is no longer possible now. It was truly regretful. I really wanted the five of them to stick together and continue to create great songs like this but since they have already made this decision, I admire them for their brave decisions to not follow that is convenient but what they really want.

Chang Min and Yun Ho makes a perfect team, though slightly less perfect than when there was still 5 of them. Mirotic will always be my all-time favourite song so as to remember their glorious past, where the 5 of the use to share the same room and have such a tight friendship. But I will still support the new TVXQ with my whole heart. Chang Min and Yun Ho is awesome just the way they are, and I love some of their new songs too! Once a TVXQ fan, always a TVXQ fan!! So i really hope to watch them LIVE! 🙂 🙂

  154. TVXQ’s Holding back the tears is my favourite song 🙂

Even though Mirotic was the song that I first heard from TVXQ(which made me attracted to them visually*), it was this song which I discovered in 2009 which made me fall in love with their voices and incredible talent. I can remember watching the video from their concert, their harmonization blew me off. It was a live concert footage furthermore.

Changmin may not have the techniques of Junsu or Jaejoong, but his voice certainly captured me in the first two lines as from the few performances they had for this song, his soft voice gave the song a good start. Followed by Yoochun’s rich and warm voice in this song deserves so much thumbs up from me! His voice was one that I did not really favour initially to be honest, but in this song, him singing the baritone solos in this song which showed the richness in his voice was very nice to listen to. Not to say Junsu’s voice which was full of emotions certainly presented the song perfectly, sounding husky at certain parts was fantastic too. Jaejoong who was the main vocal alongside Junsu had a crystal clear voice which makes me melt haha. Yunho’s low voice was like a bass amongst the other four, without him the song would sound pretty mono.

However, it wasn’t just the boys’ voices which made me love this song so much now. I loved this song at first due to the way they presented the song with their unique voices, furthermore it was a song composed by Yoochun. But after the splitting of TVXQ into two, whenever I listen to this song, I can seem to relate to it so well. In ‘Holding back the tears’, it talked about staying strong and facing the music, about staying positive and believing that things will be fine.
“I walk, trying to lessen the weight of my heart, to a place that is neither close nor far; where a different me stands, I will not cry” and “though it seems stupid, we’re always together, the pain that i want to let go dries the tears that flows through my body” are my favourite lines from the song. It teaches me that I should hold back the tears while hoping that TVXQ will return as 5 again, it teaches me to stay strong and firmly by their side while we go through these hardships together. Also, it makes me to believe that Cassiopeia and TVXQ are never separated and ‘always together’, so long as we keep each other inside our hearts. It is a song that is very close to my heart, a song which offers me support and motivates me to work hard with Jaejoong, Yunho, Yoochun, Junsu and Changmin towards our dreams.

Thus, this song which means so much to me and a song which conveys such a strong message to us Cassies who are going through a hard time, is my favourite song 🙂

  155. Keep Your Head Down.

I am a late KPOP bloomer but it doesn’t matter because this is when I get to know TVXQ and how versatile they are! (:

  157. My favourite song is Mirotic!

The song itself conveys across a feeling of growing attraction for someone else, and becoming more and more entangled in a love trap; which is similar to how after you (or I) start listening to TVXQ’s songs, you would become a bigger fan of them!

Beyond the song lyrics, together with the dance choreography, Mirotic by TVXQ is the definition of sexiness, charisma and perfection, exemplified by the group’s star quality!

Compared to its english version by Sarah Connor, even though TVXQ’s music video doesn’t contain any suggestive scenes, it very much better conveys the meaning of being captivated by someone, the alluring appeal, of TVXQ 🙂

  158. Stand By You

Being a cassie, I fell in love with every single one of DB5K’S ballads. Their voices (especially jae’s haha jk) just seemed to harmonize so well, and every song was so lyrical and meaningful. Plus, it was surprising to me that I could actually remember the tune of their ballads once I heard it. Ever since they went separate ways, yes I was very sad, but I am not those who cry easily for sure. However, when my ipod was put on shuffle mode, and ‘Stand By You’ started playing, this was my first time actually crying because of a song.(This was kind of embarassing) It just felt so close to my heart, and even though I did not know the meaning of the lyrics, the title ‘stand by you’ made me feel as though in whatever situation, I would actually feel loved by DB5K. I’m sure every fangirl has dreams about a romance with their bias (hehe:>) and after going home to google the lyrics, ‘stand by you’ was just it. It was about longing for their loved one to return. JUST LIKE HOW I AM WAITING FOR 5 OF THEM TO RETURN AS 1. I dare not say I am a hardcore cassie, but I could say dbsk is my biggest kpop bias. Perhaps stand by you is not my favourite dbsk song out of the lot, but for now it is the closest to my heart.

I hope that I can win this ticket to give to my friend’s friend, as I know homin is closer to her heart than it is to mine.
I sure do like yunho and changmin, she has known dbsk way longer than me and moreover yunho is her bias. so lets just SHARE THE WORLD!! share the joy of dbsk coming to singapore!!!!

  159. Love in the Ice was not only my favourite TVXQ song but one of the best song that I have ever heard.

Referring to the performance at Tokoyo Dome, it was one of the best performance. Or rather, just THE best. The reason why singers need to dance is to give a multi-dimensional effect to the viewer and make the singing less boring. But TVXQ’s Love in the Ice performance was phenomenal. There was no dancing, no background dancers. The crowd was utterly silent. And they had performed miracles with that song.

With the shimmering white clothes they wore that day during the performance, there was no doubt the purity of the song, the sorrows and sadness was perfectly illustrated in the eyes of millions who sat there to watch them LIVE. The world listened. Unlike the other concerts, there was no cheering, no noise, and no laughter. Their voices is in the atmosphere of the whole hall, and in the hearts of everyone. I, however, did not have the opportunity to be there, but as I watched the YouTube video of their performance, I cried.

I cried not only because the song was so sad, but also because their emotions had infected me. Their sadness was channeled through, even the internet, to reach me. I cried, because I have never seen such a touching performance. I cried, because I was touched by how the five of them could sing so harmoniously. I cried, because it was a Live performance and they had probably made many others cry. I cried, because the song was too beautiful. Their performance felt as if it was snow flakes. So beautiful while you watch them from afar. But you are so scared to touch it in the fear of melting such beauty. This was the first time I cried while watching a live performance. It has touched my heart and my soul.

Love in the Ice, from the title one could already tell that this song is reeked with sorrow and helplessness. It was well depicted in the performance. With the slightest hint of frustration, the song reached the most intense peak towards the end. I held my breathe because I was too scared that my breathing sound would make me miss out the tiniest detail of that part of the song. I have looped this song again and again in my playlist since 2008. It has been three years, and I have never grew sick of the song. But my Love for it has helped the ice to melt gently, fading away in the cooling spring. My Love for TVXQ was also elucidated ever since.

Indeed it has been three years, and my love for TVXQ and their song Love in the Ice has not faded, even a little. As the news of their disband reaches my computer screen, I could not believe my eyes for a while. I was in despair. How could they disband? was a question that I ask myself until now. I respect their decisions, but what was regretful is that how these five voices blended in with the music will never be heard again. I regret the loss, but I also look forward to the new TVXQ as well as JYJ. My love for all five of them will not be separated just because they separated and so I decided to love both equally. Sometimes I would wonder, when the five members hear their own performance of Love in the Ice, would they feel that all these things that caused their disband could also melt away together like the ice and their love for each other could once again overcome all the hurdles ahead?

This song is one that touched my heart. I will not quote any lyrics here because I feel that this good song, every lyric is worth deciphering. Worth reading and remembering. I did not know Korean but I went to learn the lyrics of the song in order to truly understand what they meant. And I feel that this is the spirit that all fans should have. SInce they do not speak our language, then we shall try to learn how to speak theirs. I love this song, it will remain in my favourite playlist forever.

When I play this song now, I will remember the bitter and sweet times that TVXQ have in the past. Although they are apart now, I will still be supporting them because they are true artists who make music.

Each time I see the live performances on Youtube again, I regret not being there myself to witness such miracles. As I was watching it again, for like the million-th time, a few days ago, I realised that I do not want to miss such an opportunity again. I realised how much I would desire to watch TVXQ’s performance LIVE. Although there’s only Yunho and Changmin now, i believe that the spirits of the other three members will always be with TVXQ, and that Yunho and Changmin will create another miracle by performing the parts of the other three members as well. I really look forward to their FanParty in Singapore, and would like to witness this miracle first-hand.

I love Love in the Ice. Five voices, united in one sorrowful song. As a cassi, I will always stand by TVXQ and “warm their cold hands” until one day they unite again. Right now, I shall do everything in support!!

  160. I really love the song, Keep Your Head Down!

Being the first piece of work they produced after a long hiatus, the song totally blew me away. The charisma that Yunho and Changmin showed in their live performances of the song proved their status as the kings of kpop. Their singing and dancing abilities have proved to be perfect even after a such long break. Their amazing stage presence, the powerful choreography, the high notes, the lyrics, the song arrangement and even the fan chants – every part of the song was like a puzzle piece, put together to bring us a solid performance from the TVXQ that we all missed.

As much as I wish to see all 5 of them on the same stage again, I am touched to see how Yunho and Changmin tried their best to deliver the best performance to all their fans and I am so glad that they persisted in spite of all difficulties to carry on the legend of DBSK. After hearing about how Changmin was frustrated during their comeback stage due to a malfunctioning earpiece, I saw their determination to succeed and perfect every song and dance performance that put up. I would never dare to underestimate the passion, dedication and perseverance that they had which brought them to where they are today and all the sweat and hard work they put into to practise their song and dance!

They are really one of the few rare kpop groups which can sing well while not compromising their dance on stage! This song, Keep Your Head Down, just shows just that, as well as how much talent they have and why they are truly the kings of kpop. They are the first group that brought me into kpop and their work has certainly exceeded my expectations! I’m particularly impressed by how this song manages to emphasise each of their individual strengths, with sharp dance moves from Yunho and powerful high notes from Changmin. This song by the powerful duo is certainly amazing!

The song is meant to be a man’s powerful message to overcome the hardships of breakup, and I think that TVXQ really portrayed the sense of anger and the will to overcome well in this song. There is a tinge of sorrow in the song lyrics and it serves as a balance towards the anger in the song. The strong emotions portrayed so intrinsically in the song made me replay it over and over again. I can’t help to think of the difficult times through which they suffered and I’m glad they are once again showing their power on stage with such a powerful and dynamic song! Together with their backup dancers, they manage to deliver an incredible performance, filling up the slightest bit of emptiness in their stages. Be it a concept they chose to show, or a performance enriched with their own experience, they pulled off the song really well.

I really love the beat of the song and throughout the year I found myself listening to this song over and over again! Whenever I talk to my friends about TVXQ, this is a song that I would definitely make them listen to. The tune is really catchy, and I felt that the range of notes showcased in the song is quite good. It’s something quite different from what we have seen from TVXQ previously and I think the song is really DAEBAK!! The MV with the visual effects and awesome dancing just made it even more perfect! Personally, my favourite part of the song is where Yunho and Changmin face each other and sing 😀 (or really.. just the whole song actually!!)

This song is really one of the best comebacks of this year and I really hope to see them perform this live tomorrow! Thanks so much for the opportunity to win the ticket and I hope I can be there tomorrow with our fellow cassies to cheer for TVXQ! 😀 TVXQ hwaiting!!!!

  161. My favourite song: Keep your head up!! ❤ ❤ ❤

  162. My favourite song is Before U Go!

It really shows how much Yunho and Changmin’s vocal skills have improved from the past! It is a really nice R&B style song and its tune was stuck in my head months after the release of the song! Matched with an awesome choreography, this song is really perfect!

  163. My favourite song of all time is Mirotic!

Til today I am still playing the song over and over again in my iPod 😀 It’s my greatest wish to see all 5 of them come together again and this song certainly brings back fond memories of kpop’s most legendary group as one! No matter whether they eventually stand back together, or continue as 2 and 3, I will support them all the way!! 😀 hope to see HoMin tomorrow!!!!!

  164. My favourite song by DBSK is Picture of You.

It is the last Korean song they promoted together as 5 members.
DBSK’s unique voices together with the melody make the song an even more emotional one.
Despite it being a ballad, it’s not a one-sided sad emotional song, but rather one with a little shimmering hope to it.
Also, the very last line sung by Yoochun never fails to make me feel deeply touched by the song (:

I’m supporting both TVXQ and JYJ now, as well as keeping the faith and waiting for the day when they form DBSK as 5 again.

  165. I know it’s late but I really want to see them and so does my mum. It would mean alot for us to see them. Please give me a chance.
I only became a Cassie a while ago but the song that means the most to me is Rising Sun. It shows all 5 guys together which is what TVXQ is all about. Although Homin are the only one that promotes it now only, i know they are still thinking of the other 3 members. The song lyrics is also touching. I really want to see them live and hear all their amazing songs
